Most people in Pennsylvania have experienced a car accident at some point in their lives, or seen one occur. It is often a traumatic and difficult experience that can leave everyone involved deeply shaken, even if they are physically unscathed. Sadly, crashes like this happen all too often, frequently because of the negligence or irresponsibility of someone on the road. Unfortunately, everyone around them pays the price for that one person’s mistake.
No matter how careful and attentive you are, anyone can become the victim of a road accident. Several people learned this the hard way one evening in Bucks County when a multivehicle crash hospitalized eight people. The 10 p.m. crash occurred when two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision. A third vehicle also became embroiled in the incident.
The impact resulted in extensive damage to the vehicles, with one car being flipped onto one of its sides. Seven people became trapped inside their vehicles, while the eighth was ejected during the crash. First responders have to rescue the trapped individuals and a combination of ambulances and a medical helicopter transported the victims to hospitals.
If you or a loved one have been harmed as the result of a car accident like this one, you may be wondering what to do and where to turn. Fortunately, there is help available and an attorney might be able to advise and assist you. He or she can explain your options and may be able to guide you through the process of making a claim against those responsible for your injuries.
